Since 2000, Corrientes Social Club has been sharing the authentic spirit of Argentine Tango from Buenos Aires in the heart of London. Our mission is to preserve and celebrate the richness, tradition and cultural legacy of Argentine Tango, from its Golden Age to its continuing evolution today. We believe tango is far more than learning steps—it’s about embracing the music, the connection, the social experience and the values that make this dance unique.
More than a tango school, Corrientes is a thriving social club where dancers come together to learn, practise and enjoy authentic Argentine Tango. Alongside beginner courses, weekly classes and specialist workshops, our regular practicas and social dancing provide the ideal environment to develop confidence, refine technique and grow as social dancers.
From our flagship Saturday social nights in Chalk Farm, Corrientes has grown into a welcoming community with regular classes and workshops in West Wickham, Kilburn / West Hampstead, and, in partnership with Negracha Tango Club, Kingston. Across all our venues we offer carefully structured workshops for every level—from complete beginners taking their first steps to experienced dancers seeking to deepen their musicality, technique and enjoyment of Argentine Tango.
