The role of women in Tango is of complementing de dance, offering back to the partner all is needed to sustain the flow and craft of the dance through the music. A true partnership that can be sometimes difficult to grasp as the partner is who initiates the leading of the steps. How we can then complement the dance with grace, style and elegance without losing our embrace connections and/or disturbing the flow of the dance?
Sunday September 22 4pm-7pm The Place Dance Centre (Euston)
4-5pm Hip Stability and Inner Leg Strength for solid one leg stand and free leg expression. Pilates-Release session.
5-6pm Lower body (lower back, hips and legs) expression and plasticity. Ganchos, Boleos and Firuletes.
6-7pm Tango Barre, exploring moving patterns to integrate sessions 1 & 2 + Q & A, a space for you to ask questions or clarifications.
Please note that due to the limited number of participants (12) the workshops will need to be booked in advance.
